| Instruction for new user sign up and Log in |
| Step 1. For the first time user, please click on "New User Sign Up" button. |
| You will get an e-mail from IIT Kharagpur containing Application Number and Password. |
| Step 2. After receiving the e-mail from IIT, please sign in using your application number and password and fill up the application form. When you log for the first time you will be required to change your password. Remember Application number and Password for future correspondence. |
| Note. If you forget password, click "Password Recovery" button, which will guide you for the recovery of the password. |

| Important instruction for the applicant |
| 1. You can update the application in phases. You must upload your photo and scanned signature as per specification

mentioned in photo and signature upload page (Sample photo and signature are given in the form). |
| 2. Best publications( up to 10) along with reprints, impact factor and citations are to be uploaded . |
| 3. As the post-processing of applications have also been made online, all essential documents required by the online applications have to be either scanned and uploaded or soft copies of the documents have to be uploaded as prompted by the system. If such documents are not uploaded, then it will be considered an incomplete application. |
| 4. The online application must be frozen by the closing date. Once frozen, the data can not be altered further. Please note that only frozen on-line applications will be considered. |
| 5. The applicant has to take print out of online application after freezing and the hardcopy has to be sent to the advertisement authority. The hardcopy printout can also be generated from Online Application Login page > Application Print Out/View |
| 6. The hardcopy print out of online application with necessary enclosures should be signed and sent to: Assistant Registrar (E-III), Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur - 721302, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, India. |
